Monthly Favorites - November 2017

I may not be a fan of pumpkin spice buuut I do have some favorite things for November!  This month I wanted to feature more than beauty products and as always, if you have some favorites to share drop them in the comments below!  (I can't be the only one who thinks pumpkin spice is overrated, right?!)

  1. Song: Get You - Daniel Caesar ft. Kali Uchis 💽
  2. QuayxDesi Rose and Gunmetal Sunnies - It may not be summer anymore but these aviators come in handy on those sunny morning drives to school. Get yours here. 😎
  3. Glade Wax Warmer - I'm not a fan of candles but I love wax warmers because they're safer and seem to have a stronger scent than regular candles.  Amazon has the warmers for under $10 and they have a wide variety of wax scents.  (Clean linen is my personal fave.)
  4. Onesie Adult Pajama - Okay, before you judge let me tell you... These are some of the most comfortable pajamas I have ever worn lol.  Target has them on sale now for about $15 and they have different designs but the gray and white striped are my favorite.
  5. Taylor Lynn Photography - I've known Taylor since middle school and she's one of the most talented photographers I know. 📷  Check out her Instagram and Facebook to see her portraits, graduation shoots, weddings, engagements, etc especially if you live in the Sacramento area.
  6. Maybelline x Shayla City Mini Palette - This palette is great for eyeshadow beginners like myself who want some color but don't want to spend 30 hours blending and shading.  
  7. OGX Hair Butter - If you're anything like me and have dry hair, this leave-in or rinse out conditioner is great for repairing dry and damaged hair.  Treat yourself and your hair will thank you later.
  8. Hanalei Lip Treatment - It's basically winter and no one wants chapped, dry lips.  I got a sample size in a glam bag from Ipsy but trust me when I say I will be purchasing the full size when I run out and it's worth every penny.  Find yours here.
  9. Mario Badescu Facial Spray - Ulta is the only store I know of that carries this moisturizing and hydrating face mist.  You can add it before moisturizer, after makeup, or throughout the day for extra love for your skin.  I have sensitive and dry skin and haven't had any reactions to it.
  10. Wall Lamp - I found this lamp at IKEA and it was so easy to install.  I do almost all of my homework and computer work in my room and it's convenient to have a light that goes right over my workspace instead of a light in the corner.
November is coming to an end and I can't wait to share my December favorites with you.  Christmas time is my favorite time of the year (right next to my birthday in February) but I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  See you in my next post!

Journey to Jesus - Intro

Welcome back!  I feel like the last few posts were a fun way to introduce myself and some things that I'm into and I think now is the perfect time to dive into the deeper parts of me.  The most important piece of my life is my relationship with God.  I wanted to include a variety of posts under the broad umbrella of a Christian walk and I thought the perfect way to do that was to start a series called "Journey to Jesus". 20 Random Facts - Get to Know Me

Remember in my first post I said that writing about myself felt like I was posting in the bio part of some dating website?  Well, I'm back again adding to my bio lol.  I see this tag going around on YouTube and other blogs so I figured I should participate too.  Let me know some random facts about you!  Let's get right to it... I'm 5'10" and the comment "oh my gosh you're so tall" is very... obvious lol. Can we cancel saying this in 2017? For the longest time in high school I wanted to dye the bottom part of my hair blonde and I'm glad I never did it because that would have been a hot mess. 😩 I don't have any tattoos and I have two piercings in each ear. I'm a little bit of a germaphobe - I'm always washing my hands, thinking about how dirty things are, and I'm very particular about cleanliness.
