Tis the season... to go back to school!  I know some people have already started school but for most of us school is right around the corner.  I think I mentioned in my first blog post that I will be going into my last year of college.  That's so crazy to think about!  It's been a long time coming, to say the least. I think I start off every semester with mixed feelings.  I wonder what kind of professors I'll have, how difficult or easy my classes will be, how much textbooks will cost (it cost me $200 just to say textbooks), how many assignments will drag me until the end of the semester, etc.  Anxiety usually sets in a week or two before the semester starts and it lingers around until the last week of the semester.  I'm equally excited, nervous, hopeful, and determined to get through my last year of school.  My biggest task this time around will be figuring out what career I want to get into after graduation.  My degree will be in Family...

Welcome back!  I feel like the last few posts were a fun way to introduce myself and some things that I'm into and I think now is the perfect time to dive into the deeper parts of me.  The most important piece of my life is my relationship with God.  I wanted to include a variety of posts under the broad umbrella of a Christian walk and I thought the perfect way to do that was to start a series called "Journey to Jesus". We all know that  life is a journey and I believe that walking with God is the best part of life's journey.  With this series I will include personal experiences, challenges, Bible verses, words of encouragement, and everything in between because sharing God's light is important to me and it's the biggest reason behind starting my blog.  I encourage feedback from anyone willing to share about their walk with God - we can't do life alone.   Please remember: it is not my intention to push the Bible on anyone but simply to share about...

Remember in my first post I said that writing about myself felt like I was posting in the bio part of some dating website?  Well, I'm back again adding to my bio lol.  I see this tag going around on YouTube and other blogs so I figured I should participate too.  Let me know some random facts about you!  Let's get right to it... I'm 5'10" and the comment "oh my gosh you're so tall" is very... obvious lol. Can we cancel saying this in 2017? For the longest time in high school I wanted to dye the bottom part of my hair blonde and I'm glad I never did it because that would have been a hot mess. 😩 I don't have any tattoos and I have two piercings in each ear. I'm a little bit of a germaphobe - I'm always washing my hands, thinking about how dirty things are, and I'm very particular about cleanliness. My biggest pet peeve is hearing someone eat/chew their food. (Just thinking about this and typing it out made me cringe!) Gold...
